Brian's Birthday in May

We celebrated Brian's birthday in May with a one night getaway to Palm Desert.  It was our first trip away from both kids ever!  It was very romantic at the Palm Desert Marriott and reminded us of our honeymoon in Hawaii.

New Trees

We planted two new trees in our front yard.  A liquid amber which will turn plum in the fall, and a plum tree.

5K Marathon Men

On Memorial Day Matt and Brian ran the Laguna Hills 5K!  I was a proud wife to watch Brian knock out an excellent time!  The boys were excited to see their dad race and cross the finish line! It was fun for Brian to run it with his best friend Matt.

Happy Birthday to our Little Einstein, Wes!

We celebrated Wes' 2nd birthday May 24th.  Wes'  2 friends and their families, and Nanna and Papa came over for cake and classical music.  Wes chose the "Little Einsteins" theme which was just perfect for our little Einstein, Wes, and his musician family.

T-ball

We have a great neighborhood for families with young kids!  A bunch of families got together and signed our kids up for YMCA T-ball this year. Sam, Charlie, James, Sebastian, Daphne, and Isabel were all on the same team.

Walt Disney World

In February, our family went to Walt Disney World. Highlights of the trip included "ESPN the Weekend" and the boys' 10 second appearance on national television, and visiting friends ("Big Wes and Big Sam," Jim and Jean Wall) and family (Cousins Karrie and Shauna and their families).  We enjoyed getting the Disney experience of traveling from afar to have dreams come true!  The Wilderness Lodge Resort was beautiful and Epcot's German Town was a favorite for Brian and Sara.
