Yesterday was not only our 7 year wedding anniversary, it was also Gwen's 1 month birthday. A lot has happened in the last 7 years of marriage.... three kids later. And we still love each other!

New Years 2010 in San Francisco
Meeting Uncle Chris and Grandpa 
We spent New Years 2010 at the California Pacific Medical Hospital in San Francisco. We wouldn't think of spending it anywhere else, than with the family supporting Brian's mom through her cancer, giving her the surprise gift of meeting her granddaughter. The beauty of the trip was in sharing baby Gwen with everyone and in helping each other through these tough times. Laughter was the best medicine, and everyone took turns having their "baby therapy".
Thomas was also in San Francisco and we were able to briefly meet his friend, Nicole. We missed Sam and Wes this trip, but were grateful they had Nanna and Papa Bales to stay with. Joyce Anne, Aunt Carol and Uncle Boyd also entertained the boys while we were gone. It is clear in times like these, the importance of family. We love you all!
